Josh has been showing up at various short film festivals, promoting his own written and directed X, starring his daughter Eden. In early March, Josh made an appearance at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, TX, debuting his short. He's headlining HollyShorts 2008 on August 7-10 in California.

Although I don't know the location, filming has begun for W., Oliver Stone's controversial biopic on President George W. Bush. I suspect much ado will be leaking onto the internet as the film continues production.

Production for Gus Van Sant's Milk wrapped in San Fransisco, CA, back in March. Co-starring Sean Penn, Emile Hirsch, James Franco, Diego Luna, and Victor Garber, the film is due in theaters at the end of the year (rumored in November).

Josh was seen at the 80th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, February 24, presenting Best Adapted Screenplay with actor James McAvoy. (Pictures can be seen in the gallery.) Prior to that, he was at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in California on January 29, 2008.
